Athletes of all disciplines look for socks that do not restrict movement and stay fresh, even after working out. JUMPER Threads, a Cincinnati start-up, looked to elevate the sock game with a second line, following their best-selling 1-505 Performance Socks. The new line focused on a shorter ankle sock that incorporated a silver infused antimicrobial blend and compression support on the arch and foot.

During the development of the Silver Socks, I was tasked with communicating the manufacturing specifications, shown below in a “technical pack.” These documents called out the colors, materials, measurements, and other information necessary for production.

The outcome are low-profile, antimicrobial socks built with runners in mind. Socks are sold per pair, for $13 each, and in a set of 5, for $52. The 5 sock Color Bundle includes one of each color and a reusable drawstring bag.
