To kick off Relay Design Co.’s internal branding strategy, I took a deep dive into other design agencies and looked at their branding, website, social media, and language/tone. For quick reference, the PDF is clickable on the table of contents as well as externally to the competitor’s website and Instagram.
Using the Competitor Analysis and additional research, I made 6 suggestion boards with successful branding elements. The suggestions were made with Relay’s existing brand elements in mind - including logo, colors, typography, icons, photography style, and website.
I categorized past AIGA design weeks branding based on its primary focus (i.e. typography). I then proposed several concepts for themes relating to midwestern life, working from home, and placemaking.
