Monster Scoop, Cincinnati’s new hypothetical gourmet ice cream truck chain, was looking for an iOS app to drive their summer sales. The app will allow users to find a truck, order ice cream, and skip the wait. Additionally, the app was used to promote a social media campaign.
User: Busy millennials that don’t want to miss out on an exclusive dessert opportunity
Scope: UX/UI design, marketing
Please note: Many design elements were included as a part of the brief. This includes the logo, photography, color palette, patterns, and monster icons. The primary focus of this project is the application of such elements in a UX/UI context.
The final design combines provided assets to highlight the fun, whimsical brand. Users are able to build out a profile to save their payment methods and favorite orders for easy purchasing. A locator helps the user find the nearest truck for a quick snack break. Ordering allows for customization and special treats. Success would be measured through increase in contest entries and sales made through the app.
